The Tony-winning musical Hadestown will make its Amsterdam and Melbourne premieres next year with performances set to begin in summer 2025 at Carré. The musical will be performed in English and will be cast "country-blind" with simultaneous auditions in London and Amsterdam. The Melbourne production will open in spring 2025 at Her Majesty's Theatre. Dates and casting for both productions will be announced at a later time.

Hadestown will bid farewell to current stars Dónal Finn (Orpheus) and WhatsOnStage Award winner Grace Hodgett-Young (Eurydice) on 25 August 2024, with the duo having originated their roles in the West End when the musical first opened at the Lyric. Replacing them from 27 August 2024 will be Dylan Wood (Orphans, No Love Songs), making his West End debut to play Orpheus, with Madeline Charlemagne, having been playing a Fate since the launch of Hadestown in the West End, will step into the role of Eurydice. Replacing Charlemagne as one of the three Fates from the 27th is Francessca Daniella-Baker (My Fair Lady)

David Mamet’s Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Glengarry Glen Ross will receive a Broadway revival in spring 2025. Tony Award-winner Patrick Marber will direct the production, which will star Kieran Culkin as Richard Roma, Bob Odenkirk as Shelly Levene and Bill Burr as Dave Moss. The revival will be produced by Jeffrey Richards and Rebecca Gold.

The chorus of the new Broadway musical The Heart of Rock and Roll, which plays the James Earl Jones Theatre, has been named the recipient of the 2024 Actors' Equity Association Award for Outstanding Broadway Chorus. “This season has been an incredibly exciting one for the chorus with more eligible companies than any other year since the ACCA Award began,” said Actors’ Equity Association 2nd Vice President Al Bundonist. “There is extraordinary work being done by chorus members across Broadway, but at the James Earl Jones, this chorus lights up the stage with their versatility and creativity…Through the chorus, the heart of the 1980s is still beating.”
